Very Good book for engineers in the marine engineering field. The pictures are detailed and informative and the text is easy to read and split into easy to read chapters. The only issue I had was with the binding. The binding is coming loose in the top, but other than that a good read.

As usual, Cornell Maritime Press has produced another superb writing. All chapters are extremely detailed, well written and easily understandable. As I've stated in other book reviews I have all of Cornell Maritime Press's engineering books. This book is another writing that all Engine Department mariners must have.

I do like the book, the only problem is the binding of the spine it is weak and may unglue it self, the publisher should check it out. But other wise satisfied.

A comprehensive and detailed engineering book for any marine engineer. I use it particularly for main propulsion and steam but have found this book useful and applicable for several ships I have ridden. Highly recommend!

Great book, definitely what you need to get a understanding of marine engineering. Shipped on time and in the condition they described and I got it for a great price. Very satisfied.
