I am a great fan of Eyewitness Guides, and prefer them to any other guides. For Eyewitness Guide fans, be prepared. This guide is filled with inaccurate information, maps that have no relationship to the actual physical locations, listings of museums or other sights that no longer exist or are in different locations, etc. A real challenge for the user and a serious disappointment for a loyal Eyewitness guide user.

I used this book for my trip to Budapest and Kecskemet. It was well laid out, contained lots of illustrations, and gave the history for many of the sites I ended up visiting. I appreciated the history section since it helped me understand Hungary much better.

As described, great color pages and good enough to plans trip.

I bought this for a gift and the recipient loved it and used it to plan a trip.
